Lucy Holliday is one of Britain’s leading young riders. Based in North Yorkshire, she has produced horses from novice to advanced level and is now looking for more rides to help her achieve a life long dream of competing at the Olympics. Lucy won a silver medal with the British Young Rider Team in Portugal in 2004. Since then she has progressed to senior level where she has been making a major impact since 2005. In 2007 she was the highest placed Under 25 in the World Cup Qualifier at Chatsworth. In 2008 she was fourth in the Senior National Championships at Gatcombe and her consistent successes at advanced level (the highest level) have established her as a recognised face in the top echelon of international competition. Lucy has the ability to produce horses to achieve their maximum potential. Her long term partner High Times was bought as a 6 year old from Ireland and has gone on to compete at both Badminton and Burghley. Although always determined to pursue a professional career in eventing, Lucy decided to gain some outside qualifications, she juggled training and studying to gain a degree in History and Psychology from the University of Newcastle, from which she graduated with a 2:1. Lucy is determined to achieve her ambition of representing Great Britain at senior level.
